Big Three-O

I turned 30 recently…

Older, wiser, better… with a bit of grey hair.

I don’t care much about celebrating my birthdays, and this was no different. Yet, there was something about this particular birthday. It was the day I left my youth behind to face the world with maturity that comes with age, and hopefully with more patience. A point in time where I should leave some habits and traits that I have acquired over the last 10 years which doesn’t fit me any more.

These are not usually sudden changes that you make, but these are changes that I hope to make.

Some might not agree that 29 is youth and might say 21 or 24 to be the cut off age to be considered as youth. Well, all I can say is, I just realized that I have to live my age.

There are some who think they are part of the “Generation Z“, even when their kids are part of the said generation. Try to live your age and enjoy it. You can be 30 for only a year.

I can’t wait to be 40…
