Changing gears

by Sunil J

I had a busy week; I had an interesting week.

I have been busy with work, and for some reason, I am sleeping more these days and I really want to know why. Problem is, with the extended period of sleep and with a busy work schedule, my blog posting routine has gone for a toss. I used to come back from work, read through some blog posts, and then write one. And on top of this, I had an urge to read some books of Jeffrey Archer, which I had read before, quite a few times.

Maybe I should tag this under postaweek2011 instead of postaday2011.

Update: I installed Ubuntu, again. But this time I installed it as a virtual machine, which means I won’t have to reboot my computer to switch between Windows and Ubuntu.

Rant: I hate it when people go out of their way to get my attention/approval.

For the past few days I was bothered by what someone did to gain my approval. Do you like it people behave differently towards you because of who you are, or what you can do? Do let me know in comments.

It has been a hectic start to the year and I am in sleep mode too; hence my vampire schedule at times. it could be the combo of staying connected to all the things we said yes to and then the subsequent overwhelm that comes with it… Just my two cents.
Like you, I’ve found the blog challenge to be a real … well, challenge and have had to question my various online social network involvements. Truthfully, it’s all good but time is tight after you factor in all your other commitments. I hear you 🙂
As per the approval thing, it’s not such a bad thing as it simply could be an sign of admiration. Okay broken record me… it’s human nature, no? 🙂
Hope you enjoyed the Jeffery book and when you have a moment, share your insights on how you use Ubuntu… not clear to me.
Best,
Eliz
